By 1912, over 10,000 pianos were being made annually, making it one of Europe's largest piano manufacturers. I have never seen a Zimmermann, and the Yamaha P121NT you referred to does not look like Yamaha's top line upright either (that would be the SU- and U- series). The upright line is offered in a 43' size and four models in smoked oak, walnut, mahogany, and ebony, polished or satin.
The upright pianos of the Bechstein Residence and Bechstein Concert Range offer a great richness of tonal colours their sound is complex and warm, but at the same time pure and transparent.
